Ayurvedic massage is a deep body massage. The massage therapist removes blocks from the body, relaxing and loosening tight muscles. The massage restores energy, mental, and physical balance.

The massage makes use of ayurvedic oils, prepared in India from special herbal extracts. These oils have a pain-relieving, anti-stress, and unblocking effect. They are carefully selected to meet the current needs of the client:

  • coconut oil – anti-pain, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal properties, helpful in curing eczema and wounds, slows the ageing process in the skin, and has a cooling effect on the body.
  • olive oil – improves circulation and warms the body.
  • hazelnut oil – deeply penetrates the skin, strengthening blood vessel walls, and accelerating skin cell renewal.
  • sesame oil – deeply penetrate the skin, cleansing (detoxing) the body, warms, regulates the sebaceous glands. After a massage with this oil, it is necessary to take a shower to wash away secreted toxins.

AYURVEDA is an Indian traditional medical philosophy which has been undergoing constant development for 5000 years. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has officially recognised it as a treatment method. The word “Ayurveda” means “knowledge of life”. Ayurveda takes a holistic view of the patient, aiming for the healing of the body, mind, and spirit, and aiding in coordination of the activities of these three. Ayurvedic massage has long-lasting effects. It produces the fastest effects when practised regularly (ideally 5 times a week for 2 weeks).AYURVEDA is an Indian traditional medical philosophy which has been undergoing constant development for 5000 years.
