In the Polynesian tradition, it was performed on a stone altar and lasted many hours or even days. The ceremony was combined with a traditional Hawaiian hula dance. It was usually performed at special moments before entering a new phase of life.
Lomi Lomi Nui massage – choose from two options of 60 or 90 minutes, encompassing the whole body except for the intimate zones which are covered with a towel or shawl during the massage. The characteristic technique of Lomi Lomi is massage with the forearms. The massage technique involves applying appropriate pressure to specific points and regions of the body and activating all the joints in turn – by rotating, stretching, shaking, bending and straightening. Not only open palms and their pads are used, but also bent fingers, fingertips, the entire surface of the hands: wrists, forearms, elbows and shoulders. The masseur strokes, embraces, presses, brushes, sways, lifts and moves our legs and arms making you feel as if you are lying on an ocean wave.
